The Charger Ace is a lightweight ski that punches like it’s a heavyweight. It clocks in at a slender seven pounds, yet proudly boasts Voile’s best downhill performance, unrivaled mounting strength, and a notched tail protector that is as durable as it is functional.
The Ace’s weight falls right between the HyperCharger and the SuperCharger. Its construction provides the dampest ride of these three recipes without any weight penalties. Moreover, our continuous sidewall improves the Charger’s celebrated edging ability, with a bonus touch of added stiffness for popping out of turns. The sidewall is tapered with a partial cap layup: reducing swing weight and preserving the effortless maneuverability that the Charger’s acolytes have grown to expect.
For the coup de grâce, we’ve included a meticulously engineered maple mounting patch, making the Charger Ace an eager pair with both the lightest tech and the most aggressive telemark bindings on the market.

Early Rise Camber
A directional, hard-carving turn personality makes this ski feel very powerful. A more traditional shape, with a turn radius on the longer side. This ski is characterised as stable and assertive.
Tip: Early-rise tip and wide shovel provide excellent float in powder.
Waist: Long running length. Engineered for strong edging ability when fast and steep. Cambered underfoot for stability.
Tail: Minimal taper, with a wide and flat hard-working tail for control in debris and harder conditions.
ACE Series
Partial Cap with Continuous Sidewall / Paulownia / Double Carbon / Maple Mounting Patch
Ultralight, and yet our dampest ski platform. A paulownia core with continuous sidewall for improved edging ability and a maple mounting patch for unmatched binding security.
Anti-Ice Topsheet
Crafted from exceptionally durable polyamide material, and designed with a unique texture that effectively reduces the accumulation of snow and ice. This innovative feature is particularly beneficial during long approaches or in freezing conditions, where snow and ice buildup would normally hinder performance.
Continuous TPU Sidewall
Continuous sidewall construction not only enhances the structural integrity of the ski but also serves as a crucial element in dampening vibrations, resulting in a smoother and more stable ride. Voile Carbon-Weave x2
Two layers of Voile Carbon-Weave combine the lightweight strength of carbon fiber with the durability of triaxial fiberglass. The strategic integration of carbon fiber into the ski's construction reduces the weight while providing the perfect blend of responsiveness, stability, and energy transfer, allowing skiers to maneuver with precision and control.
Triaxial Fiberglass
Triaxial fiberglass increases dimensional stability along three axis, providing for balanced torsional stiffness and enhancing your ability to control the ski (precise and firm edge grip). Triaxial fiberglass maintains a consistent flex pattern throughout the ski, ensuring predictable performance across different snow conditions and skiing styles.
Full-Contact Steel Edge
Steel edges provide superior grip and control on hardpacked snow and icy conditions, enhancing stability and confidence while skiing. Two lengths of hardened steel with inset teeth wrap the perimeter of this ski. Each section is painstakingly shaped by hand to ensure a precise layup.
Sintered Black Base
This ski passes on the base graphics for the sake of an ultra-high molecular density base; making for faster downhill performance and greater wear/impact resistance. And you can rest assured that your p-tex repairs will be seamless after your day spent breaking the sound barrier.

The Charger Ace is exactly as Voile describes it. The light weight helps save my energy on both the uphill and the down, and even when riding the lifts. "Stability at speed" is spot on. I've never skied a ski this light and this stable. It really is a do everything ski. Long touring days, resort days, groomers, powder, crud, moguls. Very impressed!

If I had to have just one ski it'd be the Charger ACE. Same classic shape as the Super/Hypercharger made better with sidewalls, a burly mount patch, and tail clip notch. So good I have two! One mounted with 22 Designs Lynx and one with Plum AT bindings. 178cm length in both.

This ski has been the perfect tele touring daily driver, paired up with the TTS Transit bindings it is light enough to take on long days, but wide enough for powder and damp and edgy enough for those icy days. Also a perfect mount by the Voile service shop, exactly how I wanted them!

The one ski to do it all. This ski is amazing! Sidewall gives it unreal power and responsiveness. The flex is smooth and even but when you want to push back against something you can. Less chatter, damper and the weight is just a tad above a hyper charger. If I could only have one ski, this is it.

I could not imagine a better everyday driver for big Tetons descents or couloir daily driver. The updated design provides better edge hold, lighter swing-weight, and more reliable skin attachment to an already time proven package. Well done Voilé
