The Voile Switchback Cable brings free-pivot touring efficiency to leather-boot XCD setups. Built with the proven Switchback toe and a 3-Pin Cable-style heel assembly, it gives compatible leather 75mm boots a cleaner fit, smoother stride, and quicker transitions through rolling backcountry terrain.

One flick of the switch moves the binding into free-pivot touring mode. Flick it back, and you're ready to ski. No removing the cable. No stowing it around the heel. Just a simple transition from uphill travel to downhill turns and back again.

Paired with scale-based skis like the Voile Endeavor BC, the Switchback Cable keeps the rhythm of XCD skiing intact. Climb, glide, turn, repeat. Less fussing. More moving.

Compared to the Voile 3-Pin Cable, the Switchback Cable offers a more efficient touring stride and faster mode changes. The tradeoff is added weight and a slightly more neutral downhill feel.

The Switchback Cable is designed specifically for compatible leather 75mm boots, such as the Crispi Svartisen 75 and select Alico models.
