A pair of 32” XL’s have proven very versatile when used with panniers. Straps are long enough to encircle and compress pannier, help secure panniers when the going gets rough and can be doubled up to accommodate oversize load. When used in conjunction with a pair of 25” straps, this makes for a very lightweight and flexible system for lashing loads onto bikes. The 32” are great for touring, commuting and cargo bikes.

I was concerned about the toughness of these straps for rough, outdoor use. The XLs surpassed my expectations, they are virtually indestructible.

I ebike tour with 4 panniers, bar-bags, and a single wheel trailer... lots of gear. I have used velcro straps for everything from holding items/gear to the bike and trailer to banding individual pieces of clothing. They work well enough but wear out pretty fast and they absorb water. Voile straps are perfect in wet environments, they wear incredibly well. I replaced every velcro strap I use that isn't inside a waterproof bag. The only disadvantage is weight.
