These are a slam dunk. They are simple, slot so easily into the Voile TTS binding, and make challenging conditions more like a walk in the park. Because they hinge with each step, there is virtually no increased drag. They are light enough to carry every day. They mount and dismount in seconds, and if you are flexible enough, you can do so without removing your ski. Simple, solid, Voile!

Given the recent spring like conditions here in the Wasatch in January I've had the need to bust these crampons out on early morning ascents up south facing aspects. The attachment mechanism is simple and works smoothly. I actually appreciate that these fit over the cables as it saves time putting them on and later transitioning. Paired with my Mantis at 104 underfoot the crampons do not feel too wide at all but I can imagine on something narrower that they might feel a touch too wide and a smaller width option in the future would be nice.

Got a chance to test my Transit crampons. Snow conditions were powder in the trees and crust on the way up. The crampons made my climb back up extremely easy and safer. I did not have to worry about slipping and had great glide for the stride up. The bump on top of the crampons allowed me to use my heel risers and still had plenty of grip. Crampons come with a nice bag and easy to store in my pack. Before using the crampon make sure to clear snow out of the crampon attachment or you won’t be able to get them on your skis. Use the blade of the crampon to clear snow out before sticking them on your binding. \nIf you need 4x4 mode for those icy climbs get these crampons for your Voile Transit!

The ski crampons provide good purchase and are easy to put on while staying clipped in to the skis. They are noticeably wider than the 84 underfoot Voile Endeavor skis I'm using them on, but they still feel secure.

8-10 spring days in, and they are holding up fine. They have good penetration with the low risers, and bite about 1cm with the high risers (YMMV depending on boot size). There's no appreciable flex while skinning. They're a close fit with 106 waist Charger ACE, but no rubbing. I appreciate that they can be used without removing the heel throw.
