I have color coded Voile straps for each member of my family. Our primary use is strapping skis together for a quick and secure carry. I always bring a few extra to ski races and they have been used in many different ways such as strapping a walkie talkie to the team tent and start gate. I most recently grabbed a strap out of the back of my car when two mountain bike handles were rubbing together on my bike rack. I wrapped my Voile strap between the handlebars and was on my way. Make sure to order a few extras to add to any gear bag. You'll never know how and when you might need them.

The straps work very well and hold up nicely. I started with the metal buckles but am liking the nylon buckles as they don’t mar up skis and still hold up.

Exclent product, efficient and quick to set up, I can use it to carry my skiis in my backpack in multiple different ways (A frame, etc.) I have also used it for plenty of other things, for example to attach things to my bike while bike packing, and many more things. Excelent product for a great price

I have been using Voile straps for over 20 years to secure
loads to roof racks, bike racks, trailers, raft frames, and
more. They grip like crazy, and that bomber buckle isn't
going anywhere. From trailers to roof racks, they're the
only thing I trust to keep my gear locked down for the long haul.
But their real test came on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Over 2,700 miles of relentless dirt roads and bumpy trails, I was a little nervous that a simple strap could handle the constant abuse. However, they secured my dry bags and gear to my frame and handlebars, and they didn't budge an inch. Day after day, through mud and rain, they were absolutely rock-solid, which gave me total peace of mind. They’re a gear minimalist’s dream—I swear they've replaced a dozen other types of straps and clips.
And while their performance on the bike was impressive, the moment that made me a true believer happened in the backcountry on a ski tour. The tip on my ski skin broke, and I was pretty much stuck. But I remembered I had a Voile Strap in my pack, so I wrapped it around the ski and skin as tight as I could. A few minutes later, I was back on the trail, and that strap held my skin on for the rest of the tour.

I use my straps from holding skis together to attaching ladders securely in my truck. I keep some in the truck and some in my office for whenever I need something that requires securing.
