I have color coded Voile straps for each member of my family. Our primary use is strapping skis together for a quick and secure carry. I always bring a few extra to ski races and they have been used in many different ways such as strapping a walkie talkie to the team tent and start gate. I most recently grabbed a strap out of the back of my car when two mountain bike handles were rubbing together on my bike rack. I wrapped my Voile strap between the handlebars and was on my way. Make sure to order a few extras to add to any gear bag. You'll never know how and when you might need them.

The straps work very well and hold up nicely. I started with the metal buckles but am liking the nylon buckles as they don’t mar up skis and still hold up.

I have been using Voile straps for over 20 years to secure loads to roof racks, bike racks, trailers, raft frames, and more. They grip like crazy, and that bomber buckle isn't going anywhere. I use my straps from holding skis together to attaching ladders securely in my truck. I keep some in the truck and some in my office for whenever I need something that requires securing.
