There's a reason Voile is *the* go-to bikepacking strap...
... and that reason is quality, dependability, and always there when you need 'em. Honestly, you simply cannot have too many of these straps. I have them in a variety of sizes and they always - yes, *always* - come in handy; especially since there's that moment in every trip where you think, "Dang, I wish I had something to lash down this random asteroid I just found by the trail," and - voila - that spare set of Voile straps you bought do the trick!
But, seriously, these straps are bombproof, super functional, lightweight, and have a million and one uses, on or off the bike.

Hi,
I use these straps to hold stuff on my plus bike.
My tool pouch has been secured with these for over 10000 km and no signs of needing replacement.
I wish that I could say the same about other purchases.

Infinitely useful
I bought these to strap the batteries on my electric power tools so the battery was more secure. They hold super well, high visibility, oil resistant, and are super tough. I am extremely happy with this product!

Good, basic product
Used the standard width model with Al buckles for years; skis, attaching things to packs, in the shop etc.. The only caveat; they do have a service life. After some years, they lose their flexibility, especially where the strap bends through the buckle. After which sudden failure may occur. Thus the recent order to replace some older units that are losing their elasticity. Still and yet, a very good solution or holding things together.

Voile promises versatility, strength, ease of use, and they deliver. My only regret is that I should’ve bought the larger size. You can always tuck the excess. Don’t limit your options with a short strap!

Basket straps

saved me on the top of the mountain
my binding stopped locking while skinning up the mountain. as we were screwing around with it, our leader reached into his pack and tossed me one, threaded it through the binding locked my clips and it lasted all day.

Auto Repair
In addition to tying everything on my skis and pack, I use them for multiple things doing car repair. The best is changing your disks on brakes--these straps hold up the calipers and do away with haywire and broken brake lines--makes doing brakes kind of fun!
Also use them in place of clamps for gluing about anything.

The all purpose strap
These straps are amazing! I've use them for everything from bikepacking to ski touring and strapping stuff to the car. Even used it as a bottle opener! I wouldn't leave home on an adventure without a handful of these straps. Super durable and the elasticity makes it easy to really torque down on stuff if needed.
