Fast, Simple, Solid
I rode the Voile Light Speed bindings all winter paired with the Spartan Ascent 162 and Hyper Glide skins. I live in Maine and used them everywhere from dawn patrol laps at the resort to long days in the Whites.
Ascent: They’re light on the climb, and feel locked in — no slop, no fuss. *I have walked my binding of my board on two occasions but I attribute this to my own haste. Care should be taken to ensure the nylon lever SNAPS into place. If it is not, you can feel some play and a quick double check prevents this from happening. Heel Lock is a useful feature for storage or transport, but I find them finicky to use it while touring. The climbing wires are solid.
Transition: The pin-free system is a major upgrade from the light rail which I have experience with. Transitions are quick even when its cold, windy and icy. There is not a lot of material for ice buildup to accumulate and I can easily keep up with my friends on skis during the transition.
Descent – Solid. They drive the board with authority, hold firm through icy, chattery conditions, and respond instantly when it’s time to open it up or pick your way through tight trees.
Durability – Absolutely no issues. These are bombproof. After a season of abuse in crust, rock hits, and frozen transitions, nothing has loosened or worn down.
Bottom line: They just work and that's what you want from a binding IMO
Love Voile Splitboard Bindings!

Love the fit and quality of the binding straps. They feel like a premium binding and I've never had any components get loose on them after several outings (something I always worry about in the BC). I love how easy it is to adjust the forward lean for hiking and downhill mode. Also love how easy these bindings go on and off the board in both uphill and downhill modes.
Women's Voile Lightspeed Bindings Review for Contest

I Love my Women's Voile Lightspeed Bindings!! I typically do not like anything for Women in snowboarding. I ride hard in the backcountry and typically have to use men's boards, bindings, etc. I am 5'8" and for some reason ski shops never carries anything in my size. I was looking at the Men's Sparks bindings and the size I needed was sold out. I was really hesitant to buy a Women's Binding for fear it wouldn't hold up but, I have loved my Voile Lightspeed Bindings!!! They are so easy to switch back and forth, they are very lightweight yet have the response that I am looking for, and I haven't had one issue with them. When I demoed the Men's Sparks Bindings about 3/4 of the way through my tour my toe strap came off. I got lucky it wasn't too far back on the trail. I assumed it was because it was a rental. Since then my husband and a friend of ours who both ride the Sparks bindings have lost their toe strap multiple times. I have not had any issues like that with my Voile bindings and I am completely happy with them. I would highly recommend them for women that like to ride hard and want something they can rely on. I have a size: 9 shoe and the Mediums fit great! I love the purple color, it looks sick on my Arbor Bryan Iguchi Pro Splitboard!! Thanks Voile for making a Women's product that rocks!!
Love the lightspeed bindings!

The New Standard

I have ridden Voile Splitboard bindings for more than 15 years. I have tried other brands but always return to Voile's proven products. Last season I purchased the Lightspeed Binding to add to a new splitboard I had purchased. After my first day out I was so excited about the improvements over my other Voile bindings that I saved up to get a second set for my older Voile Spartan. Everything bout this binding is superior to older renditions or anything else I have seen on the market. What you may ask. They are more comfortable and transfer power more efficiently into the edges. the change over is faster and more simple, the tour mode action is similar but with the better straps and the option to lock the heel and attach the high back makes cross hilling way easier. I also got a set of the crampons and I feel that syste is also better and easier to use although I just got them and have not had them on snow yet. So there you have it. Once again Voile has created the new Industry standard.
