As far as I could ever tell, the heel levers were the only weak point of the Hardwire binding. And they weren't all that weak - but mine did finally give out after almost 20 years. These got me back on the slopes and feel more solid than the originals ever did.

I have had these great Switch-Back Tele bindings since around 2009 and love them. A heel lever snapped last year. It was super easy to order 2 more levers that actually appear to be more beefy than the originals. I am looking forward to hitting the slopes soon. They arrived fast and were affordable.

The heel lever broke after about 20 years mounted on two different pairs of skis and was momentarily bummed. But then I thought, Voile can probably sell me the part. Sure enough, I can just fix tiny myself. What makes me happiest is, I had my daughter out on telemark skis for the first time thanks to this eternal, high-quality gear.
