CONSTRUCTION
- 70% Mohair – 30% Nylon
- Hardened and Anodized Aluminum Tip & Tail Plates
- Stainless Steel Rivets
- Stainless Steel Full-Wrap Tip Loop
- Indestructible Urethane Tail Strap
- Hardened and Anodized Aluminum Tail Clip
- Safer Skin: A 100% waterproof membrane that prevents the transfer of moisture between the skin’s plush and adhesive layers. This drastically improves the glue performance from edge to edge while also increasing the skin’s tear resistance. This (2nd) generation of their lining is made with finer layers, which effectively reduce weight and make the skin more pliable (easier to trim, handle, and stow).
- Ever Dry: This hydrophobic treatment is applied to the entire length of the skin’s fibres, guaranteeing life-long protection without the need for antiglopping sprays.

Gone through a lot of voile skins over the years and have always felt they were the best. However, bought my son some new hyper glide splitboard skins and while the new glue is easy to separate the skins it does not stick to the bottom of the board at all. 210$ is a lot for us and I am super dissapointed, nothing sucks more than skin failure on your second lap with an epic day ahead of you. Going to throw some BD skin glue on them and hope for better results.

I'm going to counter everyone's review here. I have been split boarding for 17 years, and I have always used Voile's skins. I bought these last year, and have been incredibly disappointed. I was initially stoked as they are quite a bit lighter weight than their old orange with tail clips.\nAfter about 1/2 a season ( I will add I only backcountry, and I go a lot) the skin's started leaving skin glue on my board. It continued to get worse through the season to the point, that I will be buying Black Diamond this season - bummer, one season for 200 some dollars.\nI spoke with a Volie rep and they know about this problem, yet, still continue to carry them. They told me I wasn't storing them properly. when he told me how I was supposed to - that's exactly what I was doing.\nMy husband has had the exact same problem. After 2 years of using, he will have total skin failure and skin glue all over his board. We both carry a razor blade to scrape the glue off. \nIt's a total bummer because we both have been using Voile skins forever. He started with the old skool purple. I was the orange.\nSorry Voile, you guys used to have a a great product and impeccable customer service. I found neither to be the case last year. They actually told me to go buy elsewhere, which I plan on doing.\nI'm only giving one star, cuz they won't allow me to give zero.
