Reliable binding, prefer the OG Switchback (on Karhu Guides) over the X2 version (On Voile Ultravector BC) but have very short feet (need the short rods) and X2 just seem too active and restrictive when walking around in ski mode. Love the tour mode mechanism - easy to engage and disengage with stock tip. 1st pair still going after replacing the springs and roods after 14 years (only failed due to lack of relubrication - they ship well lubricated), Just bought a second pair for some new Madshus Panoramas.
