A solid go-to binding for backcountry travel

The Switchback for me remains the gold standard in neutral telemark bindings for those of us who like to go low. Reasonably lightweight and durable. As long as Voile keeps making them, I'll keep buying them.

This is a very reliable binding for backcountry ski expeditions where you are on your own with field repairs and parts and deal with very cold temperatures and bindings chocked with snow and ice. Paired with Scarpa T-4 we use them on month-long expeditions in Arctic Canada each year and have not had a single failure
