What can I say about the voile strap that hasn’t been said before?! I’ve used it countless times in countless situations. A few of the times I was in a real bind, once we were miles into a backcountry ski tour, literally miles away from the nearest road in snow up to your waist. There a friend’s ski boot and binding broke. We rigged his boot back shut and his boot to the ski. He made it out alive with minor time loss and in a healthy condition. Another time, again miles from safety, backcountry skiing when my skins stopped sticking. We placed a strap in front and behind the binding and the skins worked great! I can’t say enough about how great they are. They are always in my pack, whether skiing, biking or hiking. You never know when you might need them.

We just completed a 365 mile bike ride. I used these straps to hold my tent on the handlebars and my camp chair on the crossbar. They worked fantastic, no slipping or stretching out.

The classic ski strap doesn't have much to improve upon. The 20" version is perfect for tons of different uses, so I always have a few of these in my pack, even when I'm not skiing. They've never failed me, but have saved my day on a few occasions.
