I am really sad that I never knew about these straps before. They are definitely magic! Warning - they will only work in a context where there will be steady tension on them. But for those situations - perfect! I am using two of these to tow my son's bike behind my Bunch Bike.

In addition to tying everything on my skis and pack, I use them for multiple things doing car repair. The best is changing your disks on brakes--these straps hold up the calipers and do away with haywire and broken brake lines--makes doing brakes kind of fun! \nAlso use them in place of clamps for gluing about anything.

my binding stopped locking while skinning up the mountain. as we were screwing around with it, our leader reached into his pack and tossed me one, threaded it through the binding locked my clips and it lasted all day.
