Very secure method for strapping tent poles to our mountain bikes for a recent bikepacking adventure. Held strong even during some aggressive downhill sections. Also, they hold so tight that there is minimal if any movement of the poles so no frame rubbing issues.\nI didn't think about the retainer clips when ordering but adding an o-ring to each strap worked perfectly.

    Snowshoe strap replacement

I normally use the straps with the metal buckle for bike packing, but these nylon buckle ones have an awesome secret. You can actually slide the nylon buckle piece off the strap to use the strap as a replacement on a piece of gear that already has a buckle. The original straps on my snowshoes (Northern Lites brand) became super brittle and cracked, slipped these naked Voile straps into the bindings...good as new! I like these even better than the original straps because the Voile rubber has just a little more stretch and flexibility in cold temps.
    So many uses

We love these straps. They are so versatile. Our current favorite use is to strap a spare tube on to the frame each bike in our bike fleet. The nylon buckle ensures no scratches and we appreciate that design.
