The \u201cLight\u201d name is therefore somewhat misleading when the boots are placed on a scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On snow, however, the <em>Pioneer Light<\/em> performs better than its price and weight might suggest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It walks efficiently, tours comfortably, and provides enough support for controlled downhill skiing and drop-knee turns. The performance gap between the <em>Light<\/em> and <em>Pro<\/em> is not dramatic. weight and add support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Verdict:<\/strong> Choose the <em>Pioneer Light<\/em> when price matters more than weight and you still want capable uphill and downhill
