From skis and splitboards to bindings and the original Voile Strap, our products are built for people who rely on their gear far from the trailhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re looking for an in-house Videographer to help tell these stories. This is a full-time, year-round position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don\u2019t expect a fully polished filmmaker on day one, but we do need someone with creative instincts, practical video experience, and a real commitment to improving their craft. This role is a strong fit for someone who already lives in the backcountry world and wants to build a professional video career inside a small, hands-on outdoor brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experienced backcountry skier or splitboarder (no exceptions)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current AIARE 1 and Avalanche Rescue certification (by January 1, 2027)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to film in backcountry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to travel for several days on a quarterly basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and communication skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must provide a portfolio of video work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro + Mac<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drone operation experience + FAA Remote Pilot License<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentary storytelling experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You\u2019ll Create<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll split your week between studio shoots, local mountain missions, road travel, and the editing bay. Filming new video assets on location is an important aspect of the job, but most weeks will include far more editing, organizing, planning, and producing product-focused content than skiing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll produce a consistent flow of video content that includes short-form <strong>and<\/strong> long-form storytelling:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>YouTube podcast episodes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product videos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short documentaries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gear reviews<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational videos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seasonal campaign assets for web and social media.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>That means everything from fast-paced 15-second commercial edits to 20-minute multi-camera documentary-style pieces supported by studio footage, outdoor b-roll, and thoughtful editing that keeps viewers engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects will feature skis, splitboards, bindings, and Voile Straps both <strong>in-studio and in remote backcountry settings.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll work with the rest of Voile&#8217;s creative team on video projects from early planning through final delivery.
